Do you enjoy reading novels in English? Would you like to join a group of book lovers that meet on a regular basis to share and discuss what they have read at home? If your answer to both questions is YES, you’ve come to the right place! Reading improves our language awareness, expands our vocabulary and deepens our understanding of different cultural backgrounds, values and attitudes.
In our British Book Club we will look at various British novels of different genres and literary periods. You’ll be given sufficient time to read the novels at home, and we will discuss features such as setting, characters, language, plot and themes in our club sessions, and share our personal opinions and thoughts.
For our three club sessions please read the following novels:
24th February 2026 – “Our Man in Havana” by Graham Greene
21st April 2026 – “The Girl on the Train” by Paula Hawkins
16th June 2026 – “The Music Shop” by Rachel Joyce
