We will look at some natural word combinations, for instance, correct heavy rain not strong rain, a tall man/woman but a correct high mountain not tall mountain, a slight/slim chance meaning a small chance as well as fixed expressions and phrasal verbs. The aim of this course is to become aware of special word combinations and learn how to use them effectively.
This course is aimed for people who had a B1 or B2 level of English (Intermediate and Upper- Intermediate) and would like to activate and improve their communication’s skills through reading, listening, writing and speaking.
